  • a. Identity & Verification Data: Full name, NRIC/Passport number (for individual verification), and SSM business registration documents.
  • b. Contact Data: Billing address, site pickup addresses, email addresses, and mobile phone numbers.
  • c. Transaction and Financial Data: Bank account details for payouts, payment receipts, and history of purchases or listings.
  • d. User-Generated Content: Photos of materials, project descriptions, and correspondence between Buyers and Sellers regarding material condition.
  • e. Technical Data: IP address and browser type for security and platform optimization.

3. Purpose of Processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • a. Marketplace Facilitation: To verify Sellers and Buyers and manage the listing, booking, and payment process.
  • b. Verification & Safety: To conduct “Know Your Customer” (KYC) checks to prevent fraud and misrepresentation of stock.
  • c. Logistics Coordination: To provide necessary pickup details to third-party logistics providers.
  • d. Monitoring & Security: To monitor platform activity to ensure compliance with our Buyer and Seller policies and to investigate potential disputes.

4. Disclosure of Data (Third Parties)

To ensure the successful sale and transport of materials, we may share your data with:

  • a. Counter-parties: Once a booking is confirmed, the Buyer’s and Seller’s contact details and site addresses are shared to facilitate the mandatory Pre-Loading Inspection.
  • b. Logistics Partners: We disclose pickup and delivery information to third-party transporters.
  • c. Professional Advisors: We may share data with legal, financial, or audit advisors to protect our legitimate business interests.
  • d. Regulatory Authorities: We will disclose data where required by law or requested by government bodies.

5. Content Licensing

By uploading images, material descriptions, or inventory data to the Concrix platform, you grant Concrix a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, and display such content. This is for the purpose of marketing your materials to potential buyers and promoting the Concrix platform across digital channels.

6. Data Storage and Cross Border Transfers

Your personal data is stored securely. To provide our digital services, we may utilize cloud-hosting services (such as Google Cloud or AWS) where servers may be located outside of Malaysia. By using our services, you consent to the transfer of your data to these secure international destinations in accordance with PDPA standards.

We implement technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized access or loss of data. Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above, typically for a period of seven (7) years to comply with Malaysian tax and accounting requirements.

  • b. Request the correction of inaccurate data or out-of-date information.
